ABOUT ME
As a Designer  I have ten years of experience working in the built environment, creating and managing thoughtful spaces.   Interior Design is about designing for the human experience - utilizing color & materials, textures, architecture, space planning, and responsible solutions.  All of these are the elements that eventually are brought together to meet the client's needs - whether it is a corporate office of a legacy organization looking to update and attract new talent, a new real estate development project in a former industrial location, or a vision impaired client requesting a home where she can continue managing while raising her young children.
I learned to anticipate and guide clients while keeping track of the big picture and tending to the details.  It takes many people to bring a design project to reality - I have experience coordinating with cross functional teams, managing consultants and advising stakeholders.
My design process was developed while as a graduate student at Pratt Institute.  I was trained to design with critical thinking to understand the how, why, and what to be done - and throughout my work I am analyzing and examining to find solutions that give essence to the design.  This method has helped guide me in creating effective experiences that have enriched, improved upon, and become part of people's daily lives.
